H. MOSER & CIE. STREAMLINER PERPETUAL MOON CONCEPT METEORITE

A CELESTIAL EXPRESSION OF MINIMALISM

H. Moser & Cie. introduces the Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite, bringing the cosmos into the language of contemporary horology. Formed from a fragment of the millennia-old Gibeon meteorite and crafted with the brand’s signature restraint, it represents a meeting between celestial history and modern watchmaking.

A DIAL CUT FROM THE COSMOS

At the centre of the piece lies its meteorite dial, crafted from material that travelled through space for millions of years before landing in Namibia. Each dial is cut, treated, and finished to reveal the Widmanstätten pattern – the natural crystalline geometry found only in iron-nickel meteorites and impossible to recreate on Earth. A golden tone, enhanced by a subtle fumé effect, gives the surface light and depth, echoing the brand’s approach to intentional minimalism.

MECHANICAL POETRY IN MOTION

For the first time, H. Moser & Cie. brings its perpetual moon phase complication to an automatic calibre. The HMC 270 delivers the same near-mythic precision – a drift of only one day every 1027 years – now powered by a bi-directional pawl winding system and a minimum 72-hour reserve.

A discreet push-button on the case flank allows the moon phase to be adjusted with simple motion. The result is an experience both elevated and effortless, true to the brand’s philosophy of functional purity.

STREAMLINER SILHOUETTE, FORGED FROM STEEL

The 40 mm steel cushion case and integrated bracelet maintain the Streamliner’s recognisable geometry: organic curves, fluid transitions, and a play between polished and satin-finished surfaces.

Against this cool, architectural structure, red gold hands, a red gold moon, and Globolight inserts create a warm counterpoint. Beneath the sapphire case-back, the partially skeletonised 18-carat red gold rotor introduces movement, contrast, and a glimpse into the calibre’s refined architecture.
