Bringing together a grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie and minute repeater powered by sapphire crystal gongs, it stands as the most technically advanced timepiece ever created by the brand. A SYMPHONY IN SAPPHIRE
At the heart of the L.U.C Grand Strike is an unmatched chiming system. Its gongs and dial crystal are machined from a single block of sapphire, allowing the sound to travel directly outward with clarity and resonance. The result is a distinctive chime known within the brand as the Sound of Eternity.
Through the open presentation of the dial, the movement reveals its character. It features polished hammers at ten o’clock, a sixty second tourbillon at six, and a sliding selector that allows the wearer to choose between grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie or silence. The entire configuration is designed to make the experience of the chime intuitive.

ENGINEERING AT ITS HIGHEST EXPRESSION
Developed over more than 11,000 hours and built from 686 components, the hand-wound calibre L.U.C 08.03-L represents the pinnacle of Chopard’s mechanical craft. Twin barrels power the watch, one dedicated to timekeeping, offering seventy hours of reserve, and the second supplying twelve hours of sonnerie performance in grande sonnerie mode.
The 43-millimetre ethical white gold case is shaped with soft curves that frame the movement without adding visual weight. Bridges in German silver, a material known for its warm patina and demanding finishing requirements, reinforce the importance of traditional craftsmanship.
